“Friendly and polite staff. Hotel located in town center with lots of shops and a variety of restaurants nearby. The on-site car park is first-come-first serve and becomes full early. Be prepared to park in off-site paid car park if you drive.”

“Our room was clean but there was not a lot of storage space. A small hanging wardrobe but no chest of drawers/shelves/storage. Manageable if staying for one night but not if for longer. Very small fan supplied during hot weather, inadequate for room size. Breakfast staff very polite and helpful but breakfast was let down by under cooked eggs (making them inedible). Bar staff very friendly but there was a lot of swearing at the next table next to us in the bar area, so we moved elsewhere. Best……

“Lovely room, comfortable bed and pillows, very effective air conditioning. Breakfast included full english + continental buffet AND made-to-order dishes which was really tasty and generous. Staff were lovely. It's located a bit away from the harbour center and with construction it was more of a walk than expected but this didn't diminish the quality of the stay.”

“The old hotel with many original features; and stylish bathroom fittings, enormous comfortable bed, golden framed bed and mirrors, plenary of pictures. Beautifully large bedrooms, some recently refurbished. Extremely helpful and polite staff. Own car park at the back of the hotel. Good breakfast. Definitely will come again.”
